Last updated:
This privacy policy explains how personal data is collected and processed when you interact with gsle.ch — in particular through WhatsApp, email, or any personal assistant workflow operated under this domain. It is written to comply with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP / nFADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The person responsible for the processing of personal data described in this policy is:

02What Data Is Processed
Depending on how you reach out, the following data may be processed:
- WhatsApp interactions: your phone number, your WhatsApp display name, message content (text, audio, images, or files you send), and message metadata (timestamps, delivery status).
- Email: your email address, your name if provided, and the contents of your message.
- Technical data: basic server logs from the website host (IP address, user-agent, timestamp) kept briefly for security and stability purposes.
No cookies, analytics trackers, or advertising technology are used on this website.
03Why Data Is Processed
Personal data is processed only for the following purposes:
- Responding to messages you send, manually or via a personal assistant workflow.
- Managing personal reminders, tasks, and notes initiated by the site owner.
- Keeping the website and workflows secure and functional.
- Complying with legal obligations where required.
Your data is never sold, rented, or used for advertising or profiling.
04Legal Basis
Where the GDPR applies, processing is based on your consent when you initiate contact (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and on legitimate interests in operating and securing a personal communication channel (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Under the Swiss nFADP, processing is carried out in good faith, for identifiable purposes, and proportionate to those purposes.
05Third-Party Services
Some of the services below necessarily process your data in order for communication to work:
- WhatsApp / Meta Platforms, Inc. — messages sent via WhatsApp are transmitted and stored on Meta's infrastructure under its own privacy terms. WhatsApp Privacy Policy.
- Automation & AI tooling — messages may be processed by workflow automation (e.g., n8n) and AI models to generate assistant responses. Only data strictly needed to produce a reply is sent to these services.
- Website & email hosting — the hosting provider for this domain processes technical data (logs) in its role as a processor.
These providers may process data outside Switzerland or the EEA (including the United States). Where this is the case, it is carried out under appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms recognised by Swiss and EU authorities.
06Retention
Personal data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. Chat conversations and emails are typically retained for up to 12 months unless a longer period is needed to follow up on a specific matter or required by law. Server logs are kept for a short period (usually days to a few weeks) and then discarded.
07Your Rights
You can, at any time, ask to:
- access the personal data held about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted, where there is no overriding legal reason to keep it;
- restrict or object to processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, with effect for the future.
To exercise any of these rights, email julian.geselle@hotmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, edoeb.admin.ch) or, if you are in the EU, with your local supervisory authority.
08Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are in place to protect personal data from loss, misuse, or unauthorised access, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted credential access, and the minimisation of stored data.
09Children
This domain is not directed at children. Personal data of minors will not be knowingly processed; if you believe a minor has sent a message in error, please get in touch so the data can be removed.
